Art Focus is accepting entries for its third annual Miniature Art Show. The show will be from December 1 - January 31st 2022. This show is perfectly timed to give customers options for gift giving as we come to the holiday gift giving season. This show will feature quality art at gift giving prices for holiday shopping.
Submission Acceptance // Artists will be notified if their artwork(s) have been accepted by Monday, November 8th.
Number of Entries // Up to 4 artworks. The gallery may choose to accept one, some or none of the artist’s entries.
Media/Preparation // 2D Media: maximum size is 14 inches x 14 inches or smaller (size includes the frame). Work must be framed (no plastic or clip frames) and ready to hang with D Ring and Wire (no screw eyes or sawtooths). Each piece needs to be clearly labelled with the artist’s name, title and price of the artwork on the back. 3D Media must be 10in or smaller in either direction.
Framing Discount // Art Focus is happy to help you frame your work at a discounted price. Please let us know if you are interested and allow three weeks in advance for framing to be completed on time for the show.
Digital Image for Submission // Please submit digital images to firstname.lastname@example.org. The image of the artwork needs to be high quality and clearly represent the artwork for submission. Your digital image will be used for the jury selection process. Each image should be titled with the name of each piece. Please provide the Framed size, price, medium and title in the body of the email. Art Focus will be using the submitted images on print advertising, the gallery website and other promotional purposes if your work is selected. The images will be used for promotional purposes only (the gallery maintains no copyright to the artist's work).
Shipping and Delivery // Artists whose artwork has been accepted can deliver their artwork to Art Focus starting Monday November 15th through Friday November 26th. Late deliveries will not be accepted. Upon acceptance Art Focus will provide more instructions on delivering artwork to the gallery.
If the Artist is shipping artwork please ship in a reusable container. Please provide return postage or a Fedex/UPS account number for return delivery. At the close of the show, all unsold artwork will be available for pickup starting Monday February 7th, 2022. Shipped artwork will be mailed back the week of February 7th - February 12th. Unsold artwork must be picked up no later than February 12th, 2021 at 5:30PM. Artwork not picked up will become property of Art Focus after 1 Month.
Sales of Artwork // Artwork accepted for the show must be for sale. Artists set the retail price of each item. Sales are split 60/40 to the gallery.
Terms and Conditions // Submitting artwork confirms the agreement between the gallery and the artist. The artist understands that the gallery commission is split 60/40. The artist bears the unencumbered right to the title of the artwork. The gallery requires the artwork to be insured by the artist to protect from theft, loss, damage, etc. The gallery will take reasonable measures to protect and keep artwork from loss, damage and theft. The gallery reserves the right to photograph and reproduce accepted work for promotional purposes. Artists may not withdraw accepted entries before the close of the show, the artwork will remain at Art Focus for the duration of the show.
